PNT Shares Distributed to Current DSI Shareholders, Board Representation Remains Same SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE June 17, 2008)--Dispensing Solutions Inc. (DSI), a pharmaceutical supply chain company, has carved out its eDispense® technology and related technology assets to form POC Network Technologies Inc. (PNT). Shares of PNT are being distributed to DSI’s current shareholders. PNT will have the same board representation as its source company. The spin-off will permit DSI to concentrate on its core competency while allowing PNT to focus its efforts on expanding into new non-DSI related markets. The two companies also expect the move to create a number of strategic cross marketing opportunities for both companies. DSI CEO Guy Bryant says, “The PNT management team and I will continue to work hand-in-hand towards the success of both companies.” “The evolution of our eDispense technology has gone far beyond just managing point of care dispensing,” states Richard Wolpow, co-founder and vice chairman of DSI and CEO of the fledgling PNT. “It has advanced into a new tool for medication therapy and disease state management.” PNT is creating many new and exciting applications for the web-based eDispense portal, developing pilot programs with many of the top payors in the industry. Wolpow will serve as PNT’s CEO and as a member of its board of directors. Vaccine Manager is a solution for vaccines administered in a physician’s office that previously had benefit coverage under Medicare Part B but are now covered under Medicare Part D. Until the release of this product, physicians did not have an efficient and timely way to submit and get reimbursed for payment. Patients were being denied necessary access to treatment or being required to pay out-of-pocket.” Wolpow continues, “The payor market-place understands the benefits of having the real-time connectivity at the point of care that eDispense Vaccine Manager provides.
